This site is a way for me to display the various projects I have worked on or am currently working on, as well as to serve as a place to house my portfolio. Thanks for visiting!

I was born and raised in Andrews, TX. A love of music, particularly the music of the 1950’s and country music, was fostered at an early age from my family. I started playing in my first band at the age of 15 (we were quite terrible), and I have been playing in bands ever since. I have played everything from punk and metal to jazz and folk.

I attended Midland Classical Academy from 2000-2004. While a student at MCA, I developed a love for all things creative, working in and through various art classes to better understand and communicate using artistic expression. I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in English, and immediately began teaching humanities and art classes at my alma mater, Midland Classical Academy. After several years of teaching, I accepted the role of Student Ministry Director at Midland Bible Church. Throughout my post-college career I have continued to be involved in various music, website, film, and art projects both as a paid professional and a passionate hobbyist.

I married my high school sweetheart, Lee, in 2009 and in 2013 we had our son, Lyle. Lee swears his name was NOT inspired by ‪Lyle Lovett‬…..but it might have been. These days I can be found encouraging others to become spiritually enlightened through film at filmhunting.org, spending untold hours watching the temperature gauge on my barbecue pit, playing gigs in my Americana band, Angel & the Badmen, attending concerts with the love of my life, and spending time with the family.
