Recently I got to do a fantastic project with an old friend. Every year my buddy, Brandon Shuman, writes an essay for Christmas. Most years whenever he reads his essay in public, I compose some type of music to play in accompaniment with him that is meant to help communicate on a more visceral level while he is communicating both through the written and spoken word. After over a decade of this, Brandon has decided to release a book, companion album, and website to share the project.
